However, to be sure about this, one has to wait for the official notification.
Some important things about photos and signatures
Uploading photos and signatures is an important step while filling the form. Many are worried about the background of the photo. However, it has been informed that it is not mandatory for the background of the photo to be white. Even if there is a background of another color, the form will not be canceled. So there is no need to worry too much about this.
Common mistakes in form filling and their solutions
Many people are making some common mistakes while filling the form. Below are the mistakes and their solutions:
- Edit Option: The School Service Commission (SSC) will provide an opportunity to edit after the form filling process is over. However, as is known, the academic numbers (Secondary, Higher Secondary, Graduation, M.A.) cannot be edited. Only if there is a mistake in the general information, it can be corrected.
- B.Ed Column Problem: If there is any problem in the B.Ed information in the printed PDF, such as the text ‘B.Ed’ appearing in the place of the number, there is no reason to worry. The system has recorded the information correctly.
- Multiple Applications: If a candidate has applied with two different registration IDs by mistake, the last submitted application will be considered valid and the first one will be canceled. The admit card will be issued on the basis of the last application.
- Grade Point: Those who have a grade point or CGPA in their mark sheet can write ’10’ in the place of the total marks and their CGPA in the place of the marks obtained. It is good to know the rule of converting CGPA to percentage as prescribed by the university at the time of verification.
- Mistake in Academic Numbers: If the academic percentage is mentioned incorrectly (e.g., 85% instead of 65%), it cannot be edited. In this case, a new application has to be made with a new mobile number and email ID.
- Medium of Instruction: A mistake in the medium of instruction for a language at the M.A. level is not a major problem.
- Application in multiple subjects: If a candidate has an M.A./M.Sc. in two different subjects, he/she can apply separately for the ninth-tenth and eleventh-twelfth standards. This will require two separate registrations and two candidate IDs.
Hope this information will help the candidates to clear their confusion and fill the form correctly. Keep an eye on the official notification of SSC and fill the form with a calm mind. Good luck to all.
