Your Ultimate Guide to the 2025 Special Intensive Revision in West Bengal

Special Intensive Revision: The Election Commission is set to begin the Special Intensive Revision 2025 for West Bengal, starting from August this year. The primary objective of this process is to ensure all information on the voter list is accurate and up-to-date. Every voter must participate in this process by filling out an enumeration form and submitting the necessary documents. This can be done through both online and offline methods. Let’s find out more about this entire process in detail.
Role and Responsibilities of Officials
To conduct this process smoothly, significant responsibilities have been assigned to Election Registration Officers (ERO) and Booth Level Officers (BLO).
- Election Registration Officer (ERO): The ERO will provide two pre-filled enumeration forms for each existing elector to the BLOs and will provide them with the necessary training.
- Booth Level Officer (BLO): BLOs will visit homes to deliver these forms to voters and assist them in filling them out. They are also responsible for collecting the filled forms and required documents. Forms submitted offline must be uploaded daily using the BLO app or the ECI Net app.
