FASTag Annual Pass Launched, Pay Once and Get Freedom from Toll for the Whole Year for Just Rs 3,000!

FASTag Annual Pass: Good news for those who travel regularly on the highway. The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has launched a new FASTag Annual Pass scheme from August 15, 2025. Through this scheme, users will get a discount at the toll plaza for the whole year or for a specified number of toll trips by paying a one-time annual fee. What is a FASTag Annual Pass?

The FASTag Annual Pass is a new subscription-based service introduced for the owners of private cars, jeeps, and vans. Through this, users will get the benefit of unlimited or a specified number of trips at the toll plazas of national highways and expressways by paying a specific annual fee.

New Rules and Conditions

• Annual Fee: The annual fee for this pass for the financial year 2025-26 has been fixed at Rs 3,000.
• Validity: This pass will be valid for one year or for 200 toll trips, whichever comes first.
• Applicable Routes: Initially, this service is being launched on the following routes:
  • Delhi-Mumbai Expressway
  • Mumbai-Nashik
  • Mumbai-Surat
  • Mumbai-Ratnagiri
• Who can apply: Only owners of private cars, jeeps, and vans can apply for this pass. This rule is not applicable for commercial vehicles.
• Application Process: Users can apply for this pass through the official website of NHAI or the ‘Rajmargyatra’ mobile app.
• Activation: This pass will be activated within 2 hours of payment.
• Existing FASTag: There is no need to buy a new FASTag. This pass can be linked with your old FASTag.

How will it work?

Once the annual pass is activated, no money will be deducted from your FASTag account at the toll plaza. After one year or 200 trips are over, your FASTag will go back to the pay-per-use model as before.
