According to a recent report, approximately 1.2 million central government employees have migrated from foreign platforms like Google and Microsoft to the platform of Chennai-based company Zoho for their official email services. Zoho Corporation is a Chennai-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company founded in 1996 by Sridhar Vembu. The company is entirely Indian and has no foreign investors. Recently, Home Minister Amit Shah himself announced the switch of his official email account to Zoho, highlighting the government’s trust in the platform.

Moving 1.2 million employees to a new email system is undoubtedly a complex process.
