This partnership is not limited to consumer benefits alone. It also emphasizes investment in AI infrastructure and enterprise solutions. Reliance Intelligence Limited, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries, will act as a strategic Google Cloud partner. This will help Indian organizations access high-performance AI hardware, including Tensor Processing Units (TPUs), enabling them to train larger AI models and implement complex AI-driven projects more efficiently.
Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani stated the goal of the partnership is “Making India not just AI-enabled but AI-empowered.” Meanwhile, Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai highlighted the potential of this partnership to broaden AI access across the Indian consumer, business, and developer landscapes.
