PSC Clerkship Part 2: The long wait is finally over for the West Bengal Public Service Commission’s Clerkship exam candidates. After the results of the Clerkship 2023 (Advt. No. 13/2023) Part-1 exam were published, thousands of candidates were eagerly awaiting the schedule for the Part-2 examination. Today, on 4th November 2025, PSC released a crucial notification announcing the final date, time, and most importantly, the revised list of examination centres for the Clerkship Part-2 exam, which is a vital piece of information for all aspirants.

This Part-2 exam will be descriptive in nature, testing the writing skills of the candidates. According to the commission’s notification, the duration of the exam is just one hour, which is set to be a major challenge for candidates in terms of time management.

PSC Clerkship Part-2 Exam Date and Time

As per the new notification issued by the Public Service Commission, the Clerkship Part-2, 2023 examination will be held on 28th December 2025 (Sunday). The scheduled time for the exam is from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. This means candidates will get a total of 60 minutes to complete the paper. Writing descriptive answers accurately within this short timeframe will be a significant test of skill.

Major Change: New Consolidated List of Exam Centres

The most significant aspect of this announcement is the consolidation of examination centres. While the Part-1 exam was conducted at 36 different centres across the state, the Part-2 exam will be organized in just 8 major cities. This means that the Part-1 centres have been merged to create a new list of venues for the Part-2 exam.
