Amidst the news of the 9th-10th results, successful candidates from the 11th-12th grade are extremely worried about their interview schedule. Although the results for the 11th-12th grade exam were published last Friday, many ‘deserving’ candidates who had previously lost their jobs did not achieve the expected marks. Now, they are eagerly awaiting the interview list, as it will determine whether they will be called for the interview at all.
The School Service Commission has announced that the document verification process for the 11th-12th grade will begin on November 17. However, as per regulations, the SSC must publish an updated vacancy list before releasing the list for interviews and verification. According to sources in the Education Department, this process is nearly complete, and the list may be sent to the commission by Tuesday or Wednesday.
An official from the Education Department, on the condition of anonymity, stated, “If the document verification is scheduled for November 17, then the revised vacancy list must be published at least four days prior, which means by November 13.” Since the verification will be centralized and many candidates will have to travel from distant places, they need to be informed in advance.
How Will the Final List Be Prepared?
According to SSC sources, the final merit list will be prepared based on a total of 80 marks. The breakdown of marks is as follows:
- Written Examination: 60 marks
- Experience: 10 marks
- Educational Qualification: 10 marks
The future of the candidates will be determined based on this scoring system. Overall, there is a mixed reaction among the state’s job aspirants, with the happiness of the impending 9th-10th grade results on one hand and the growing anxiety over the 11th-12th grade interview list on the other.
