Yuvasathi Scheme: Significant news for the unemployed youth of West Bengal. The application form for the state government’s highly anticipated Yuvasathi Scheme has finally been released. Under this initiative, eligible candidates are set to receive a monthly stipend of Rs 1,500. However, to avail of this benefit, it is mandatory to fill out the form correctly and submit it following specific protocols. A minor error could lead to the rejection of the application. Below is a detailed guide on the correct application process and the list of required documents.

General Guidelines and Precautions

Before filling out the form, applicants must adhere to certain basic instructions. The entire form must be filled out in English Block Capital Letters. A colored passport-sized photograph needs to be affixed in the designated space. A crucial rule applies here: the applicant must sign across the photograph (Cross Signature) in such a way that half the signature is on the photo and the other half is on the application paper.

Key Steps for Filling the Form

Accurate Personal Information
The applicant’s name must match exactly with their Madhyamik (or equivalent) examination certificate. Parents’ names must also be written in capital letters. It is mandatory to mention the registration number obtained after registering at the Duare Sarkar camp.

Critical attention should be paid to the mobile number and bank account details. Provide only that mobile number which is linked to your bank account. Regarding age eligibility, a specific cut-off date has been provided. The applicant must be between 21 and 40 years of age as of April 1, 2026.

Educational Qualification and Bank Details
On the second page of the form, details of educational qualifications must be provided. The minimum requirement to apply for this scheme is passing the Madhyamik examination. Applicants must accurately enter their Roll Number, Marks Obtained, Year of Passing, and select the correct Board. Following this, bank details including Bank Name, Branch Name, Account Number, and IFSC Code must be entered without errors. Ensure that the bank account provided is linked with your Aadhar card.

Required Documents and Submission Venue

Applicants must attach self-attested copies of the following documents with the application form:

  • Admit Card and Marksheet of Madhyamik or equivalent examination.
  • Aadhar Card and Voter Card.
  • First page of the Bank Passbook (showing account holder’s name and account number).
  • Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

After completely filling out the form, sign and date it at the bottom. The form must be submitted at your local Duare Sarkar camp. Upon submission, officials will return the ‘Acknowledgement Slip’ found at the bottom of the form, duly signed and stamped. This slip should be preserved carefully for future reference.
