Revised Timeframe for Cylinder Booking

Previously, consumers were permitted to book their next LPG cylinder after a gap of 21 days from their previous delivery. However, keeping the current global fuel crisis in mind, the government has revised this policy. Under the new guidelines, the mandatory waiting period between two consecutive bookings has been extended to 25 days. This strategic move aims to prevent panic hoarding and ensure an equitable distribution of cylinders across the country.

Directives to Ramp Up Production

To mitigate the fuel deficit caused by the international market crisis, the government is heavily leaning on domestic infrastructure. The Ministry of Petroleum has issued an urgent directive to all oil refineries operating within the country.
