BLO SIR Form: Has BLO Submitted Your SIR Form? Learn The Easy Way To Check Status Online

BLO SIR Form: According to the guidelines of the Election Commission, the work of revising the voter list is going on across the state. In this process, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are collecting SIR or Enumeration Forms from citizens. Many people have submitted their details or forms to the BLO, but remain doubtful about whether that information has actually been uploaded online. The good news is that you can now verify from the comfort of your home whether the form you submitted has been correctly uploaded by the BLO online. It is possible to check this status very easily on the Election Commission’s portal.

Method to Check Status Online

To know the current status of your form, you need to follow a few simple steps. The detailed procedure is discussed below:

Meaning of Status or Condition

After clicking the search button, you may encounter two mainly different situations or results on the screen. By seeing this result, you have to understand the current status of your form.

Situation 1: Form Has Already Been Uploaded
If a message pops up on the screen after searching that says “Your form has already been submitted with phone number…” and the last few digits of a mobile number are visible next to it, then understand that:

  • The BLO of your area has successfully submitted your information and form online.
  • There is no reason for you to worry, the process is complete. The phone number being shown has been linked with your voter information.

Situation 2: Form Has Not Been Uploaded
If after searching, a form containing your personal details such as name, father’s name, address, etc., opens up on the screen and options to send OTP or edit the form appear, it means:

  • The BLO has not yet uploaded your form online.
  • In this situation, if you wish, instead of waiting for the BLO, you can verify the necessary information yourself and submit the form online through OTP verification.

Important Information and Warnings

It is essential to keep some important points in mind while completing this process online or checking the status:

  • Phone Number Correction: If you see that your form shows ‘Submitted’ but the phone number displayed there is incorrect or not yours, there is nothing to panic about. In this case, contact your BLO directly. They can correct the number through their specific app.
  • One-Time Opportunity: Remember, this SIR or Enumeration form can be submitted online only once for a voter. Once it is submitted (whether you do it yourself or the BLO does it), there will be no opportunity to fill or submit it a second time. Therefore, if you fill out the form yourself, verify the information very carefully before submitting.
