Will Police Catch You Driving Others Car Learn Easy Online Process for Driver Authorization Letter 2026

Driver Authorization Letter 2026: Driving a car belonging to a relative or friend often leads to legal complications on the road. Specifically, during traffic police checks, if the vehicle owner is not present in the car and the driver’s name does not match the owner’s name, you could face hefty fines. To solve this problem, a ‘Driver Authorization Letter’ is essential. Here is a detailed guide on how to easily generate this important document online following the 2026 process.

Why is the Driver Authorization Letter So Important?

Generally, according to traffic rules, if someone other than the owner is driving the vehicle in the owner’s absence, it is advisable for them to have a valid permission letter from the owner. For instance, if a car is registered in the name of Mr. Amal, but his friend Mr. Bimal is driving it, police might assume the vehicle is stolen or being used illegally if the owner is not present. In such situations, the ‘Driver Authorization Letter’ acts as a safeguard. It is an official permission document through which the vehicle owner grants legal rights to another person to drive their vehicle.
