How to Challenge SSC SLST Exam Answer Key? Know the Detailed Procedure

Challenge SSC SLST Exam Answer Key: Confusion often arises among candidates regarding the Answer Key of the SLST exam conducted by the School Service Commission (SSC). If a candidate feels that the answer to a specific question is wrong or that multiple options are correct, they can file a challenge with the commission. This challenge process is completed through several steps. Let’s understand this entire procedure in detail.

Pre-Challenge Preparation

Before filing a challenge, it’s important to keep a few things in mind. You must have appropriate proof or supporting documents ready for the question(s) you are objecting to. These documents should be from a reliable book or source.

Online Procedure

The entire process is conducted online. The steps are described below:

Login: First, you need to go to the official website of the School Service Commission and log in with your candidate ID, mobile number, and password.
Objection Registration: After logging in, you will find an option named ‘Model Answer Key Objection Registration System’. You have to click there.
Select Roll Number: If you have applied for both IX-X and XI-XII levels, you need to select the roll number for the level you want to challenge.
Booklet Series: You must correctly select the question paper series (A, B, C, D) that was given to you in the examination hall.

The Challenge Process

Select Question Number: You need to select the question number you want to challenge from the drop-down menu.
Commission’s Answer: As soon as you select the question number, the model answer provided by the commission (SSC’s uploaded model answer key) will be displayed on the screen.
Your Suggested Answer: Now, you have to choose what you believe is the correct answer from the ‘Suggested Answer Key by Candidate’ option. Several alternatives will be available here:
- A specific option (A, B, C, D): If you think the commission’s given answer is wrong and another option is correct.
- No Answer is Correct: If you believe that none of the four options are correct.
- More than One Answer is Correct: If you think more than one answer is correct.
- Question is Wrong/Out of Syllabus: If the question itself is incorrect or is from outside the syllabus.

Challenging Multiple Questions

You can register challenges for multiple questions in the same way by clicking on the ‘Add More Question’ option. Remember, a specific fee (e.g., ₹100) has to be paid for each question.

Document Upload

Create a PDF file: You need to combine all your supporting documents into a single PDF file. It is advisable to mention the corresponding question number next to each document.
File Size: The size of the PDF file must be less than 250 KB.
Upload: You have to upload your created PDF file by clicking on the ‘Browse File’ option.

Payment

After uploading the documents, you need to return to the dashboard and pay the prescribed fee by clicking on the ‘Pay Now’ option. Once the payment is successful, your status will show as ‘Paid’. The notification also mentions that if the commission accepts your challenge, the fee will be refunded.

By following this procedure, you can easily raise your objection against the SLST exam answer key. Completing each step carefully will increase the chances of your challenge being successful.
