Submit Life Certificate or Jeevan Pramaan Patra from Mobile, Know the Complete Easy Process

Life Certificate: For pensioners, submitting a Life Certificate or Jeevan Pramaan Patra every year is a mandatory task. With technological advancements, this process has now become much simpler. There’s no longer a need to stand in long queues; you can complete this task using your own Android phone. In this article, we will discuss the entire process step-by-step.

Required App Installation

To submit your Life Certificate via your smartphone, you will need to install two applications.

  • Jeevan Pramaan: First, install the “Jeevan Pramaan” app from the Google Play Store. It is a small app of about 3 MB and installs very quickly.
  • AadhaarFaceRd: Another app named “AadhaarFaceRd” is also required for submitting the Life Certificate. This should also be installed from the Play Store. This app will not be directly visible on your mobile; it operates in the background during the face scanning process.

Step 1: Operator Registration (One-time Process)

This process needs to be completed only once. The pensioner themselves or any family member can register as an operator. Once registered, that operator can submit the Life Certificate for any pensioner.

  • After opening the Jeevan Pramaan app for the first time, select the “Operator Registration” or “Device Registration” option.
  • Submit the operator’s Aadhaar number, mobile number, and email ID.
  • An OTP will be sent to your mobile; enter it to submit.
  • Next, you have to write the operator’s full name as per their Aadhaar card.
  • Tick the checkbox and click on the “Scan” option, which will open the “AadhaarFaceRd” app.
  • The person registering as the operator must face the camera in adequate light and blink their eyes. This confirms that the person is live.
  • Upon a successful scan, you will see an “Operator Authentication Successful” message, and your operator registration will be complete.

Step 2: Submitting the Pensioner’s Life Certificate

Once the operator registration is done, you can begin the process of submitting the pensioner’s Life Certificate.
