  • Docket Number: A special number given to the candidates who applied to return to their old job.
  • Candidate’s Name: The name of the applicant teacher or staff.
  • Designation: The post he was appointed to – 9th-10th standard, 11th-12th standard, Group-C, or Group-D.
  • School Name and District: The school and district where he was employed through SSC.
  • Previous Post: The old post to which he wants to return.
  • Name of the Previous Department/School: The name of the department or school of the old job.
  • Appointing Authority: The appointing authority of the old job, such as the school authority, the primary education board, or any other government department.

Diversity of Candidates

Analyzing the list reveals that candidates are returning to various types of old jobs. For example:

  • A 9th-10th standard teacher from Alipurduar district is returning to her old primary school job.
  • Many candidates have wanted to return to their old primary teacher (DPSC) jobs.
  • Some are returning to various departments like Police Constable, West Bengal Board of Secondary Education’s Group-D, Madrasah, or the Power Development Corporation.
  • There are also instances of returning to departments like the Labor Department and the Fire Brigade.
  • It has also been seen that a teacher of the 11th-12th standard is returning to an old post of 9th-10th standard or to another school.
