PSC Clerkship OMR and Marks: The long wait is finally over for candidates who appeared for the West Bengal Public Service Commission (PSCWB) Clerkship Examination 2023 (Advt. No. 13/2023). The commission has published the OMR sheets and the marks obtained by candidates in the Part-I preliminary examination on its official website. All candidates who participated in the exam can now directly visit the commission’s portal to view their answer sheets and scores. This move is expected to bring greater transparency to the evaluation process.
According to commission sources, the facility to view the OMR sheet and marks will be available for a limited period, so candidates are advised to check them promptly.
Significance of OMR Sheet and Marks Publication
Previously, the commission had only released the result for the Clerkship Part-I exam, which listed the roll numbers of the qualified candidates. Based on that result, a total of 89,821 candidates were declared successful for the Part-II (Mains) examination. However, many candidates could not find their roll numbers in the list and were unaware of their scores or the cut-off marks.
With this new initiative by the commission, all candidates both those who passed and those who did not can view their OMR sheets and the marks they secured. This will allow them to accurately analyse their performance and clearly understand the reasons for not qualifying, if applicable.

To maintain transparency in the recruitment process, the commission had earlier released the category-wise cut-off marks for the Part-I exam. Candidates can now compare their scores with this cut-off list.
The category-wise cut-off marks are as follows:

How to Check Your OMR Sheet and Marks?
Candidates can download their OMR sheet and marks by following a few simple steps:
- First, visit the official website of the West Bengal Public Service Commission: https://psc.wb.gov.in
- On the homepage, click on the ‘Candidate’s corner’ section.
- Find and click on the link related to “CLERKSHIP EXAMINATION (PRELI.) RECRUITMENT EXAMINATION, 2023 [ADVT. NO. 13/2023] – VIEW OMR SHEET”.
- A new login page will open. Enter your roll number and other required details (like date of birth) and submit.
- Upon entering the correct information, your OMR sheet and the marks obtained in the Part-I exam will be displayed on the screen.
- It is advisable to download or print it for future reference.
Remember the Last Date
Candidates must note that this facility will be available for a limited time. As per the commission’s notification, candidates can view their OMR sheets from 29th October 2025 to 12th November 2025. All candidates are urged to download their scorecards within this timeframe.
