SLST Result Update: After a long wait, the School Service Commission (SSC) is finally expected to release the SLST results, according to reliable sources. However, there’s a significant change in this year’s recruitment process which is crucial for all aspirants. A panel for the interview will not be created directly based on the OMR sheet marks; instead, a new verification process has been introduced. Major Changes in the Final Answer Key

It is being reported that before publishing the results today, the Commission will release the Final Answer Key for the SLST examination. The OMR sheets have been evaluated based on this key. Previously, when the provisional answer key was released, a large number of candidates had challenged multiple questions. Due to the high volume of challenges, the Commission had to re-evaluate the matter.

Sources have indicated that a new expert committee, comprising professors from various universities, was formed. This committee re-examined the question papers and has reportedly changed 5 to 6 answers for certain subjects. The OMR sheet marks, which are scheduled to be released today, are based on this revised Final Answer Key.

New Stage in Recruitment: Verification First, Interview Later

The biggest and most important change in this year’s SLST recruitment process is its new stages. The result being published today will only be the marks obtained out of 60 in the OMR-based test. Securing these marks does not mean that candidates have been directly selected for the interview.

The complete new process is as follows:

• Step 1: Publication of Marks
  First, the Final Answer Key will be released, and based on it, the marks obtained by candidates out of 60 will be published.

• Step 2: Call for Verification
  Based on these marks, successful candidates will be called for a “Verification Process”. For this, candidates will have to download a separate “Intimation Letter”.

• Step 3: Document Scrutiny
  In this phase, candidates’ educational qualifications, experience certificates, and other submitted documents will be thoroughly verified. It is anticipated that several candidates may be disqualified at this stage due to incorrect information or lack of eligibility.

• Step 4: Opportunity from the Waiting List
  The Commission may call new candidates from the waiting list for verification to fill the vacancies created by those disqualified during the verification process.

When Will the Interview Be Held?

Only after the successful completion of the entire verification process will the Commission publish a final list for the interview. Only the candidates on that list will get the opportunity to participate in the subsequent 10-mark interview process. This means aspirants will have to wait a little longer to be empanelled.
