  • Subjects with Reduced Seats: Compared to 2016, a decrease in vacancies in several subjects created uncertainty for qualified untrained candidates. The SSC has prepared a datasheet on this and sent it to Bikash Bhavan.
  • Possibility of Seat Increase: Since the vacancies have decreased in some subjects, an increase in seats is almost certain. The final decision will be made after Bikash Bhavan verifies the data. Verbally, it is known that efforts are being made to increase the seats, and according to sources, “seats are increasing by 100%”. A final list of vacancies will be published before the interviews.
  • Order of Recruitment: The recruitment for classes XI-XII will be completed first, followed by classes IX-X.

Certificate Issues and Rumour Debunking

Many candidates are worried about their certificates. The commission has provided some solutions:

  • Old OBC Certificates: Those who do not have a digital certificate can complete their verification using the digital number and the old certificate.
  • New Reservation List: Candidates newly included in the reservation list must present their original certificates.
  • Rumour: The recent news about 4000 in-service teachers being disqualified is completely false. No such information has been released by the SSC.

As the Supreme Court has extended the December 31st deadline by another seven days, the commission is very optimistic about completing the process within December. Candidates are advised to start preparing thoroughly for the interview and demo classes.
