Join on TelegramStep 1: Registration (Only One Registration)
First, visit the westbengalssc.com website. A very important point is that even if you want to apply for both Group C and Group D posts, you must register only once. Multiple registrations may lead to the cancellation of your first application.
Click on the “Apply Now” option, fill in your Name (as per Madhyamik certificate), Father’s/Mother’s Name, Category, Gender, Email ID, Phone Number, and Address, then set a password and register.
Step 2: Candidate ID and Verification
After successful registration, you will receive a ‘Candidate ID’; save it carefully. Next, you must verify both your registered Email ID and Phone Number using the OTPs sent to them. (Note: Those who applied for the 9-12 exams earlier and see an “already exists” error should use a new email and phone number).
Step 3: Photo and Signature Upload
In this step, you need to upload your photo and signature. Remember, as per the commission’s rule, the photo and signature must be merged together and uploaded as a single file.
Step 4: Complete Profile
After logging in, click on the ‘Complete Profile’ option. Here, you need to fill in your address and educational qualifications (Madhyamik marks for Group C, etc.). At this stage, you can still change your category, phone, or email, but your name or parent’s name cannot be changed.
Step 5: Finalize Application
After filling in all the information, review the profile thoroughly and click on ‘Finalize Profile’ or ‘Finalize Submission’. Remember, after finalizing the profile, no information can be corrected.
Step 6: Apply for Post
After finalizing the profile, go to the dashboard and select the post you want to apply for (Group C or D).
- For Candidates with Canceled Jobs: For those who were previously employed in these posts (and lost their jobs), there will be a special option. They must tick that option and fill in their old roll number, school code, joining date, etc.
- For Freshers: New applicants (freshers) should not tick these options.
- Next, select your medium, application region, and examination center (Venue District), and then submit.
Step 7: Payment
After submitting the application, a ‘Pay Now’ option will appear on the dashboard. Pay the prescribed application fee through the BillDesk or SBuzz gateway. Once the payment is successful, your application process is complete. You can download a PDF copy of the form for your records.
Special Note (Important)
- One Registration Only: Use a single registration for both Group C and D.
- Verify Details: Ensure your name, father’s name, and date of birth exactly match your Madhyamik certificate.
- Caution: Double-check all information before clicking ‘Finalize Profile’, as there is no correction window after this.
- Website: Apply only through the official website (westbengalssc.com).
