SSC Teacher Recruitment: Document Verification Starts from Today! Over 700 Bengali Candidates Called on Day One, Know Details

SSC Teacher Recruitment: The West Bengal School Service Commission (SSC) is finally set to begin the document verification process for the recruitment of teachers for classes XI-XII. This much-awaited process is scheduled to commence on November 18, 2025, and will continue until December 4. According to SSC sources, an average of 1000 to 1500 candidates for various subjects will be called each day to ensure a smooth procedure.

Verification Process and Schedule

The School Service Commission has made special arrangements to complete this massive task efficiently and quickly. It has been reported that the interview and document verification process for the candidates will start from 9:30 AM. A total of 15 tables have been arranged for this purpose. The plan is to verify the documents of approximately 100 candidates at each table daily.

On the first day, November 18, candidates listed for the Bengali subject have been summoned. As per SSC sources, about 710 candidates for the Bengali subject are being called for document verification on the inaugural day. This process will continue for candidates of various subjects until December 4.

The School Service Commission issued a notification on Monday detailing the essential documents that candidates must bring for verification. Candidates must carry the original and self-attested copies of the following documents:

  • Application Form and e-Information Sheet (containing the roll number and ID).
  • A photo identity proof such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, or Passport.
  • Caste Certificate, if applicable.
  • Necessary certificates for specially-abled or Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates. It is important to note that the signature date on every valid document must be prior to July 21, 2025.
  • Post-graduation certificate and marksheet (Original).
  • TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) Pass Certificate.
  • All documents related to teacher’s training (e.g., proof of where the training was completed).
  • Letters or experience certificates from previous institutions if there is any prior teaching experience.
