WB SSC SLST Exam: Center List and Important Instructions Out, Know the details

WB SSC SLST Exam: New guidelines and a list of examination centers have been published for the upcoming State Level Selection Test (SLST) organized by the West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC). The examination for the 9th-10th grade category will be held on September 7th, and for the 11th-12th grade category, it will be on September 14th. These guidelines are crucial for all candidates, and it is essential to be well-informed to avoid any issues at the exam center.
Reporting and Entry Timelines
It is extremely important to arrive at the center on time on the day of the exam. The commission has stated that:
- All candidates must report to the examination center by 11:00 AM.
- The examination center gates will close at 11:45 AM.
- The exam will begin at 12:00 PM. No candidate will be allowed to enter after this time.
- Question booklets will be distributed 15 minutes before the exam starts, but candidates cannot begin writing answers before 12:00 PM.
Items to Carry to the Examination Center
Candidates must bring the following items with them:
- Black or Blue Ballpoint Pen: Only black or blue ballpoint pens are to be used for filling out the OMR sheet.
- Valid Photo ID: One original photo identity card such as a PAN card, driving license, voter card, passport, or Aadhaar card must be carried.
- Admit Card: A printout copy of the admit card is mandatory.
Prohibited Items
Certain items are strictly forbidden inside the examination hall. If found with any of these, the candidature may be canceled:
- Any type of watch (smart or analog)
- Log tables, calculators, mobile phones, or any other electronic gadgets
- If any of these items are found, the candidate’s exam may be canceled.
Examination Rules
- At the end of the exam, candidates must submit the completed OMR sheet to the invigilator.
- Candidates can take the carbon copy of the OMR sheet and the question booklet with them.
- No candidate will be allowed to leave the hall before the exam concludes at 1:30 PM.
- For visually challenged candidates, this time is extended until 1:50 PM.
- All examination centers will be under CCTV surveillance.
- Candidates must sign on the OMR sheet and the attendance sheet.
