WBCHSE: Attention Students! Big Update on WB HS Class XI Registration for 2025

WBCHSE: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has published a very important notification regarding Class XI Registration. This notification, signed by the Council’s President, Prof. (Dr.) Chiranjib Bhattacharjee, was issued on 29/07/2025 with the notification number L/PR/414/2025. The notice announces a revised schedule for the registration process of Class XI students. All Heads of Institutions under the Council have been requested to take necessary action accordingly.

This new schedule has been announced with reference to a previous notification (No. L/PR/349/2025, dated 30/06/2025). For the convenience of students, guardians, and school authorities, the detailed revised schedule and its significance are discussed below.

Revised Schedule: At a Glance

The Council has set new dates for various registration-related activities. All institutions must strictly follow these dates.

  • Issuance of online Registration Check List: The Council will issue the online Registration Check List for institutions via its portal on 01/08/2025.
  • Correction of Check List: School authorities must verify the details on this online checklist and make necessary corrections. This task must be completed by 12/08/2025. It is specifically mentioned that no hard copy of the checklist needs to be submitted to the Council.
  • Issuance of Registration Certificates: After all corrections are made, the final Registration Certificates will be made available through the Council’s online portal on 18/08/2025.

Important Instructions for Institutions and Students

While this notification is primarily addressed to the Heads of Institutions, it is also important for students and their guardians to be aware of certain aspects.

For Institutions:
School authorities must meticulously verify the information of every student. Any errors in names, dates of birth, subjects, and other details must be corrected within the specified deadline of 12/08/2025. Since no hard copies are to be submitted, completing the online process accurately is crucial. Any error in the registration process can cause problems for students appearing in the final Higher Secondary Examination.

For Students and Guardians:
Although the responsibility for correction lies with the school, students and guardians should stay in contact with their respective school authorities. If necessary, they can visit the school to ensure their details on the checklist are correct. The Registration Certificate is a vital document, without which appearing for the Higher Secondary Examination is not possible. Therefore, everyone must be vigilant about this matter.

Adhering to this new schedule will ensure a smooth registration process and help avoid any complications later on.
