According to the latest directive from the Medical Cell of the Finance Department, the timeline for enrolling under the West Bengal Health Scheme has been extended once again. Previously, the deadline for employees and pensioners to register or collect their digital certificates was set for October 31, 2025. However, reports indicated that a significant number of beneficiaries had not yet completed the process. To address this issue, the state government has officially extended the deadline to January 31, 2026.

This decision by the Finance Department covers a wide range of beneficiaries associated with the state government. The extended window applies to:
- Permanent State Government Employees.
- Pensioners and Family Pensioners.
- All India Service (AIS) officers serving in the state and their respective pensioners.
