WBSSC News: A Secret Tip from an Ex-CBI Chief, Could This Be the Key for 26,000 Fired Teachers?

WBSSC News: The recent Supreme Court verdict upholding the cancellation of nearly 26,000 teacher and school staff jobs has caused a major stir across the state. In this critical situation, a delegation of individuals who lost their jobs sought guidance from former CBI Joint Director Upen Biswas at his Salt Lake residence, a meeting that has sparked new hope among the protestors.
Assurance from Upen Biswas
Upen Biswas has conveyed a message of solidarity with the jobless individuals. He stated that he has supported their movement from the very beginning and has provided them with necessary advice to navigate their case in the Supreme Court. In his words, “I have given them a crucial piece of advice, which cannot be disclosed publicly. However, I can say this much: there is always a way out.” This comment has ignited a fresh wave of enthusiasm among the agitators.
In Search of Legal Counsel
The representatives of the jobless teachers had also previously consulted with prominent figures like Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharya and Abhijit Gangopadhyay. The primary focus of these discussions was to explore the legal avenues available to reinstate the jobs of qualified candidates.
Statement from the Agitators
Suman Biswas, one of the protestors, mentioned that he has filed a case in the Supreme Court, making the CBI a party to the suit, demanding the publication of 2.2 million (22 lakh) OMR sheets. He believes that publishing these sheets will end the deprivation of deserving candidates and ensure that all eligible individuals on the waiting list secure a position.
Future Course of Action
To intensify their movement, a protest has been planned for the 16th. A press conference will also be held to announce further details. Overall, with the guidance of Upen Biswas, the teachers and school staff who lost their jobs are dreaming of making a comeback.
