What is Panchayat Tax and Why is it Important?

Panchayat tax is a mandatory tax imposed on homeowners in Panchayat areas. The amount of this tax depends on various factors, such as whether the house is made of mud or concrete, its size, and the number of floors. The money collected from this tax is used for the development of the Panchayat area. Until now, this tax had to be paid offline at the Panchayat office, but the new online system has made the process much easier and more convenient.
