HS Admit Card 2025: A very important update has been published for the 2025 Higher Secondary Third Semester Examination conducted by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE). According to the announcement, the distribution date for the necessary admit cards for the students’ examination has been fixed. From August 20, 2025, students will be able to collect these admit cards from their respective schools.
A major change has been introduced this year; the council will not send any hard copies directly to the schools. The entire process will now be completed online, and the school authorities will deliver the printed admit cards to the students.

How to collect the admit card?
According to this year’s rules, the process of obtaining the admit card is slightly different. Students will not be able to download their admit cards directly from the online portal.
The process is as follows:
- The headmaster or headmistress of each school will log in from the official portal of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education using their own user ID and password.
- After logging in, they will download and print the admit cards for all the students of their school.
- Then, each printed admit card will be signed and stamped by the head of the school.
- Finally, students will be able to collect this signed and stamped original admit card from the school on a specified day.
The main purpose of this method is to ensure the security and verification of information and to provide the admit cards quickly. Therefore, students have to wait for the specific date given by the school.
Importance of Admit Card and Registration Certificate
The admit card is a mandatory document for entering the examination hall. Without it, no student will be allowed to sit for the exam.
The admit card mentions the student’s name, roll number, registration number, examination subjects, and most importantly, the address of the examination center. After receiving the admit card on August 20, students will know their examination center, which will help them to plan their travel in advance.
What to do if there is a mistake on the admit card?
As soon as they receive the admit card from the school, every student should carefully check all the information mentioned on the admit card (their name, father’s name, subjects, photo, etc.). If any kind of mistake or discrepancy is noticed, the school authorities should be contacted immediately. The headmaster or headmistress will take the necessary steps to correct the mistake by contacting the council.
