Join on Telegram- Age Limit: As of 01/01/2025, the candidate’s age must be between 18 and 40 years. Reserved category candidates will get age relaxation as per government norms.
- 2023-25 D.El.Ed Batch: As per the current situation, candidates pursuing the D.El.Ed course for the 2023-25 session are not eligible to participate in this recruitment process.

Preferred District Selection and Form Fill-up
Choosing the ‘Preferred District’ during form fill-up is a very crucial step.
If a candidate clears the cut-off for their chosen district, they will be posted there. However, even if they fail to clear their preferred district’s cut-off, they may still get a posting in another district if their name appears on the state-wide merit list. Therefore, it is advisable to choose the district wisely after considering the number of vacancies and the level of competition in one’s home district. The application process will be conducted online through the official website of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education. Use a permanent mobile number and email ID during application.
If any candidate has lost an important document like the TET Admit Card, they must file a General Diary (GD) at the local police station immediately. Showing the GD copy during document verification will resolve the issue.
Interview Date and Venue
The interview is the most critical stage of the recruitment process.
- Tentative Time: The interview process is expected to begin in the first week of January 2025.
- Venue: It is likely that the interviews will be conducted centrally at the APC Bhawan in Kolkata.
- Order: Candidates may be called for the interview in alphabetical/ascending order based on their district’s name (e.g., Alipurduar first, followed by Bankura, Birbhum, and so on).
