Step-by-Step Online Application Process
Follow the steps below carefully to complete the application correctly:
1. Portal Login Process
First, visit the official website of the Primary Education Board at wbbpe.wb.gov.in. Click on the ‘Primary Teacher Recruitment 2025’ link under ‘Important Links’. Then select the ‘Application for Primary Teachers Recruitment 2025’ option. Verify using your TET Roll Number and Date of Birth. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile and email, which you need to enter to log in.

After logging in, you must first select your ‘Preferred District for Counselling’. Fill in your name, gender, and Aadhar number. The mobile number and email will be pre-filled. Select your Category (SC/ST/OBC/General) very carefully.
Important Warning: The ‘Sub-Category’ options (such as Para Teacher, Ex-Serviceman, Exempted Category, etc.) are only applicable to those belonging to these quotas. If you are a general or fresh candidate, keep this field blank; do not select anything.
3. Address and Academic Qualifications
Select your medium of instruction (Bengali/Hindi/Urdu, etc.) and fill in your Permanent Address accurately. Next, enter your academic qualifications, i.e., passing year, board/university, full marks, and marks obtained for Madhyamik, Higher Secondary, and Graduation. Carefully check the guidelines for mentioning marks with and without Additional Subjects. The percentage will be calculated automatically.
4. Training Qualification and Document Upload
Select your training course name (2-year D.El.Ed or 4-year B.El.Ed), state, board, and session. Then, upload the scanned documents in their respective fields. Once uploaded successfully, a ‘View’ option will appear on the right side; click it to verify if the file is correct.
5. Form Submission and Payment
Once all information is filled, click on ‘Save as Draft’ and then the ‘Preview’ option. Verify the entire form thoroughly. If everything is correct, tick the declaration box and click on ‘Submit and Pay’ to deposit the fee. Upon successful payment, your form filling will be complete, and you will be able to download a copy of the application.
