This application has been listed under the title ‘The State of West Bengal vs Confederation of State Government Employees’. Amplifying the legal pressure on the administration, three separate contempt of court petitions filed by prominent employee unions have been officially tagged with the state’s application. The organizations that have filed these crucial contempt pleas are the Confederation of State Government Employees, Sarkari Karmachari Parishad, and Sangrami Joutha Mancha.
