According to the notification (No: 499/DPPG/Gr-D GPF) issued on July 28, 2025, by the Directorate of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance (DPPG), West Bengal, the annual interest has been credited to the GPF accounts of 36,312 Group D employees.

  • Interest Rate: The rate of interest for the GPF for the financial year 2024-25 has been set at 7.1%.
  • Total Interest Amount Credited: A total amount of ₹101,76,27,253.00 (Rupees One Hundred One Crore Seventy-Six Lakhs Twenty-Seven Thousand Two Hundred Fifty-Three) has been credited to the accounts of all eligible Group D employees.
  • Number of Beneficiaries: This interest credit benefits a total of 36,312 Group D subscribers.

The government has requested all concerned parties to take the necessary steps to verify the credit of interest in their respective systems and ensure that subscriber accounts reflect the credited amounts accurately. Any discrepancies should be reported promptly to DPPG, WB for timely resolution.

How Can Group D Employees Download Their GPF Account Statement?

The GPF for Group D employees is managed by the Directorate of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance (DPPG). Employees can easily download their GPF account statements through the West Bengal Integrated Financial Management System (WBIFMS) portal. Here is a step-by-step guide:

  1. Visit the WBIFMS Portal: First, open any browser and go to the official WBIFMS website: https://www.wbifms.gov.in/.
  2. Log In: Log in to the portal using your Employee ID and password. If you haven’t registered yet, you must complete the registration process first.
  3. Open the HRMS Module: After logging in, select the “HRMS” module from the various options available.
  4. Navigate to the GPF Section: From the left-hand menu within the HRMS module, click on the “GPF” option.
  5. Select the Reports Option: Under the GPF menu, click on “Reports.”
  6. Choose GPF Account Statement: Within “Reports,” you will find the “GPF Account Statement” option. Click on it.
  7. Fill in the Details: Enter your Employee No. and select the Financial Year (e.g., 2024-25).
  8. Generate the Report: After correctly filling in all the details, click the “Generate Report” button. Your GPF statement will be downloaded in PDF format.
