PM Kisan Installment: The central government has brought a major piece of good news for farmers across the country. The official date for the release of the much-awaited next installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) scheme has been confirmed. Farmers enrolled as beneficiaries under this initiative will soon receive the financial assistance directly in their bank accounts.
When and How Will the Funds Be Credited?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially release the grant amount during a special public gathering as part of his upcoming visit to Assam. The fund transfer process is scheduled to take place on March 13 at 5:00 PM. Since the entire operation is conducted via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), the money will be deposited straight into the beneficiaries’ bank accounts shortly after the central government initiates the release. An official announcement and a related video have already been published on the official portal (pmkisan.gov.in).
Possibility of Receiving Pending Arrears
As per the PM Kisan scheme guidelines, farmers receive a standard assistance of ₹2000 per installment. However, this is an excellent opportunity for those whose previous installments were stalled due to technical glitches or documentation errors. If those specific issues have been successfully resolved, the pending arrears will be credited together with the current installment. The total amount received will be directly proportional to the number of installment slots updated in the beneficiary’s profile.
How to Verify Your Payment Status?
Beneficiaries can easily confirm whether they are eligible for this upcoming installment right from their homes. To do this, one must visit the official PM Kisan portal and navigate to the “Know Your Status” link. After logging in with the correct credentials, if the text next to the ‘Payment Processed’ option reads ‘Yes’, the farmer can be absolutely certain that the funds will be successfully credited to their account.
