SSC SLST Answer Key: After a long wait, the School Service Commission (SSC) has finally released the answer key for the 9th and 10th-grade SLST examination. Candidates can now visit the commission’s official website to check their answers. Moreover, if there is any doubt about an answer, there is also an opportunity to challenge it within a specific period. This special report details how you can complete this entire process.
How to Check the Answer Key?
The commission has published the answer key in two parts – a “Master Key” and a “Jumbled Key.” You need to use both these keys to match the correct answers with your specific question paper series.
- Step 1: First, download the Master Key and the Jumbled Key for your subject from the commission’s website.
- Step 2: According to your question paper series (e.g., A, B, C, D), you need to match the question number from the Jumbled Key with the question number in the Master Key.
- Example: Let’s say you have the ‘A’ series English question paper and want to know the answer to question number 13. According to the Jumbled Key, your question 13 corresponds to question number 1 in the Master Key. Now, you need to look at the correct answer for question number 1 in the Master Key.
- Special Note: The Jumbled Key is the same for Bengali, English, and Hindi subjects. However, separate Jumbled Keys have been provided for subjects like Nepali, Mathematics, Life Science, History, Geography, and Physical Science.
How to Challenge an Answer?
If you believe that any answer provided by the commission is incorrect, you can challenge that answer with specific proof.
- Timeframe: Candidates will have the opportunity to challenge the answer key from September 20, 2025, to September 25, 2025.
- Fee: A fee of ₹100 must be submitted for each question challenged.
- Required Documents: Each challenge must be supported by at least two reliable academic references or information from authentic books.
- Application Process: Candidates must log in to their application portal to submit a challenge. A specific window for this will open on September 20th.
- Fee Refund: If your challenged answer and the provided documents are accepted by the expert committee, the ₹100 fee submitted for that question will be refunded to your bank account.
