On 9th November 2023, The Finance Department of West Bengal notified the list of Holidays for 2024 vide Memo No. 6112-F(P2). Based on the holiday list, we prepared a user-friendly calendar for 2024. West Bengal Government Holiday Calendar 2024
The total no of Holidays for the year 2024 excluding Sundays is 44 days. And including Sundays, the number of public holidays becomes 44+52=96. So, the total number of working days is 366-96=270. For government offices that are closed on Saturdays, the total holiday is 44+52+52=148 days. For these offices, total number of working days is 366-148=218 days.
