WBPAY.in is an independent website for West Bengal state government employees, teachers and pensioners, and for job candidates, students and families dealing with state schemes. Since 2018 it has explained Finance Department memos, pay and DA rules, pension and GPF procedures, WBHS and WBIFMS in plain Bengali and English, and built free calculators and tools for the same work.

WBPAY.in is not a government website and is not affiliated with the Government of West Bengal. The orders and memos we explain are issued by the departments concerned; we link to their official copies so readers can check them.

Who runs WBPAY.in

Munmun Bera is the founder and editor of WBPAY.in and is responsible for everything published on it. She has a background in finance and has worked for more than seven years with state departmental accounting, including WBIFMS, pay fixation under ROPA 2019, DA, GPF and income tax for salaried employees.

What we publish

Calculators and tools for salary, DA arrears, increments, pension, gratuity, leave salary and WBHS rates, built from the published rules and memos.
Trackers that follow a running matter, such as the 7th Pay Commission, with every step linked to its official order.
Guides to WBIFMS, HRMS, GPF, pension and service-rule procedures.
Updates on new Finance Department and other department orders that affect employees and pensioners, each citing the memo number, its date and a link to the official copy.
Government orders library: copies of orders with a short plain-language summary. The issuing department is the author of each order.

How articles are made

Every update starts from an official document: a memo, notification, order or court judgment. We use AI tools to help draft and translate articles from that document. An editor then checks every figure, date and memo number against the source before publishing, and the article links to it. Our full process is in the Editorial Policy.

Corrections

If you find a mistake, email [email protected] with the subject “Correction Request” and the page link. We correct confirmed errors and note the change and its date on the page.
